For MIPIM 2008, BDO International, the world's fifth largest accounting network, selected RE:EVENTS to source, brand and manage a single venue where the company could entertain more than 100 guests at breakfast, 165 for lunch and host a cocktail party in the evening for over 400 - three separate events each with a very different guest list and focus.

Through their knowledge of the locale and their contacts in Cannes,
RE:EVENTS suggested the terrace area of the Plage Royale Beach Restaurant. Its flexible structure was ideal for the evolving transformation throughout the course of the day. The location also offered optimum branding opportunities including four large sports flags adorned with the BDO logo which were highly visible from the Croisette and as you entered the Plage Royale. Continuing the beach theme RE Events also sourced branded deck chairs and placed them along the terrace area for guests to relax and enjoy the
sunshine.

Working with the venues management RE:EVENTS organised different menus, seating plans and interior decor as well as audio-visual equipment for each event. To create a relaxing, social atmosphere for the evening event RE:EVENTS hired a pianist and saxophonist, while the branding was given an added twist through the creation of a signature cocktail in BDO's corporate colours. A success? RE:EVENTS are already busy working with BDO for next year's event.
